Pharmacy Practice is one of the recent branches of pharmacy which was designed to develop a new generation of Pharmacists working in a clinical setup along with physician and other paramedics in-order to promote patient Healthcare. The mission of the Department is to provide clinical education that uses evidence-based approaches to optimize the practice of pharmacy, deliver quality patient care and provide related service. The Department is committed to excellence in teaching and service. Through innovative teaching methods, we provide skills necessary to foster critical thinking and optimal use of medications, while promoting professionalism.

The Department conducts various healthcare awareness programmes by collaborating with professional and governmental organizations to improve and promote patient safety. These patient-oriented services help to educate the patient and community about the diseases. Beyond long classroom lectures, our students have opportunities to actively participate in local, state, national and global health programmes that will help in promoting health improvement, wellness, disease prevention, its treatment and access to healthcare through educational activities, direct interactions, leaflet distributions, patient counselling etc.
