Herbal museum

All the herbs as per syllabus are displayed in the Pharmacognosy lab for practical training. Herbal museum also displays traditional types of extraction models in Ayurveda and Siddha.

Drug museum

Several formulations of various medicines are displayed and maintained in a Museum. Students get an opportunity to understand the various combinations and different formulations available in the market.

Herbal garden

A glimpse of nursery comprising of a green shade net-house, here the students also learn the techniques pertaining to works like raising and maintenance of nursery, rising of plantations, raising of shrubs and also get an awareness about floral heritage of India. The main objective of the garden is to maintain a conservatory of the majority of common and important species of medicinal and aromatic plants which are being used in day-to-day primary health care. All the plant species were authentically identified by expert taxonomists and labelled.
